About Me

After many exciting years of bouncing from job to job-- fruit picker, forklift driver, respiratory therapist, rock drill operator, picture framer, concrete mixer for burial vaults-- I finally found my way to kids' books. I've written and illustrated eight picture books, and have illustrated another ten that were written by other authors including Eve Bunting and Lisa Wheeler. For older kids (and grownups) I've illustrated the bizarre "Pals in Peril" series by National Book Award winner M.T. Anderson.
